Real or fake: ebay auction of Tom Hanks signature from The Terminal.

I'm thinking of getting this for a friend's birthday since it's his favorite actor and movie:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/131782764162?ul_noapp=true

I've read around that the seller, presspasscollectibles, is trustworthy, but this signature looks different when compared to the various Tom Hanks ones when I did a google search. Is it authentic or should I pass?

Thank you for your help.

I think people are going to refrain from giving an opinion, since it's such a sloppy scribble. I'm not sure you can authenticate this one way or another as it stands.

I agree with Rich.  Tom's sig isn't the most clean or concise already but that one is too sloppy to even consider, may not pass authentication, real or not.

This already has a PSA sticker but I agree as to it being such a sloppy scribble it would be hard to authenticate. Since it's from Press Pass though, it has been authenticated because mostly all of their stock is authenticated one way or another, real or not.

This is why I simply don't trust the long term value in TPAs. How on earth could PSA render an opinion on that mess? It does not appear to be a witnessed COA, it's an opinion COA. What is their opinion? That the autograph is legit? (I don't think anybody would give that opinion on that autograph)... or  "The company who submitted the autograph to us is a BIG customer and typically there stuff is authentic. So we passed it". At some point this is really going to bite the TPAs in the.. A**

Thanks you for all the advice. I'll pass then.
