May I ask which "collectible house" issued that COA?
That's what I mean. That looks completely off. Ledger too for that matter. These are relatively novice opinions, but these don't look like they have a chance. Ledger did not sign tons of Joker stuff before his death, and, as I recall, the only things he did sign were a handful of early promo pics.
Unless I'm missing something, I don't think this is even more a second look.
PM,
I've never heard of a gallery in Las Vegas called The Art of Music Management. I do know The Art of Music, which is a well-known gallery in Las Vegas, at the Mirage and later Mandalay Bay as well. But from what I've seen, I don't consider them a reliable seller of autographs.
I'm not as good as Pete on Heath Ledger, but the one on that poster doesn't look similar to any I've seen. Here are a couple of examples:
I figured the "Management" part was just something on the standard Art of Music "COA" from Mandalay Bay, and it is. I just saw one online with a quick search. PM - I suggest you look into this source and consider recourse. They have odd terms so it won't be easy as you will read.
PM, these autographs are simply not genuine, source aside, in my opinion. With just the "Ledger", there are very obvious form and structural problems...the baseline, slant, curves/loops, relationships, ...the legibility of the "Ledger"...
Well, I am sorry this happened to you. I suggest you first read the terms very carefully to see your rights and whatever else they stuck in there. Then come here and use the AML search engine and read all you can about people who have been in your situation. If memory serves, some have prevailed. They might want you to get several authenticators they like to write a letter or some such nonsense, I don't recall the specifics of their craziness.
You may find that certificate and the terms to be less than helpful, the other answer might be easy to guess. I would not waste any money on authentication - I would read the terms and read the threads here and see what others have done in your situation - as I said some have prevailed as I recall.
