The Doors and Jim Morrison autographs--would appreciate opinions on authenticity

I respect a lot of what I've read on this site.  So much so that I'd love your opinions on this Morrison/Doors supposed authentic auto.

American rock band The Doors, 4 1/2" X 4 1/2" inches, 1970, Hand signed by American rock band The Doors, Set of hand signed autographs, signed by all original members of American band "The Doors". These signatures are like gold dust nowadays. To find a set like these is next to impossible. These were signed in England in 1970. Signed on paper. The paper is showing signs of age, with some foxing, and one signature is on the back with three on the front. Still a very rare set to get your hands on. The foxing looks worse in my photographs than when you have it in your hand. All the autographs are still very clear. The Doors were an American rock band formed in 1965 in Los Angeles, with Jim Morrison, Ray Manzarek, Robby Krieger and John Densmore. size 4 1/2" X 4 1/2" inches

Many thanks,

Chris

Not authentic, in my opinion.

Appreciate you, sir.  I felt not, either, but I don't have near the experience you do.

Not authentic. Not even close for that matter...

Well all I can say is, someone must have practiced a lot on the Ray Manzarek signature....(Back then, when "Rock signatures weren't worth anything")

There was no reason to forge signatures of Rock Artists back then....(I already know what Jack thinks about fading and or making an autograph look old....)

are you for real Teresa, I d do a much better job forging Jims sig.. you can throw the piece of paper away.

You're not going to get a forged signature that flows like that....Like I said, I was referring to the Ray Manzarek signature. You can tell the "speed" at which all 3 of the signatures were signed,,,,( Very fast). Not to mention the paper,.. I mean Really?

These don't look natural, they look hesitant, and the amount of ink at the very end of the closing stroke of the Manzarek and where that little dot of ink is and its strength makes me uncomfortable.

So do you actually still believe that these are authentic? or, do you think that a forger was able to sign these with speed?...

First, Eric Longo,...the little dot at the end of Manzarek is where the Autograph book pages end, so thats where his pen stopped. Jack, No,..on this one, a forger couldn't have signed it with this kind of flow and "speed"....I think even you know that. Take another look...

You miss my point. The wear at the edge of the paper is inconsistent with the condition of that spot of ink.

No, you missed my point, that is where the other pages "came up" and stopped,...no where else for the pen to go,..so the pen stopped there, and made the "dot"....(an Autograph Book)
