Mike Trout Jersey but no "27"

Just returned from southern california where we took in an angels game with diamond field box seats adjacent to the angels dugout. Knowing that the kiiidd signs in this section, we were prepared with our trout jerseys and he delivered. I have many mike trout signed items, game used bat and bowman chrome auto xfractor card so I was surprised when I looked down on the jersey and saw no "27".

Any thought on this?

That's his typical in person rushed auto from a game. He typically does not sign "27" in person. Or if he does it's not legible. For Topps or for a paid signing his autograph is a little different and he often signs "27". Here the one my son landed in Anaheim last year.

Thank you. He was definitely rushed as they were playing Train's "Calling All Angels". He is the perfect role model for our grandkids....great guy! I am sure that your son was elated!
