I personally don’t like it, it looks the same style as he signed at the WFIL Helping Hands marathon but just looks off to me, particularly the caricature self portrait.

I'd pass. It looks to me like it was penned by the SoCal forger.

Hey Steve...Here is a John Lennon "Imagine" poster from 1971...this is "signed" by the "So. Cal" forger...

Hi Jim, I agree. Looks to be in the same hand as the one Bruce posted to me. What do you think?

Hey Steve...It's not the same. Do you remember the article you did about the signed Abbey Road albums?...what's real and what's not? Outside of the one signed for Lizzie Bravo...most...if not all of them were done by the SoCal

forgers!!!

It has all the tell tale signs of drawing a signature....

1970's Lennon sigs scare me; IMO they are tough to spot, and I've never been able to grasp the real from the fake (unless it is really bad)

60's Lennon's are so much easier.

This Lp is currently offered for sale in the upcoming Julien's Auction. No provenance indicated. No COA

They also have a signed DYLAN album that I don't like. Don't trust them at all after that Michael Jackson scandal a few years ago.

It was eventually sold for $8,960 plus premium (20% ?) to be added.

Enough to buy a set of real sigs...

I think that $8960 is including the premium but still -- very high price considering no LOA from a respected Beatles source.
