There's been mixed opinions concerning this John Lennon autograph from 1963.

Roger Epperson has said "he thinks it's fine" via his quick opinion...

Picture has been uploaded with also the added letter from the lady who has stated she obtained it.

Looking for some extra help from members on here if possible, thanks :)

I'm not in Roger's class when it comes to the Beatles, but I'm not comfortable with it.

neither am I

Not for me.

I’m edging towards authentic but it’s a difficult call.

It looks close, but the end of the signature is unusual. Can anyone post an example with a similar "NON" portion?

I am getting more convinced that this is legit.  The inscription was throwing me at first, but after checking out some others, it looks ok.  Here is another lennon with a similar "non" ending.

I don't think it looks similar. This one appears more typical to me.

My concern isn’t the shape, the shape looks right on. It’s that when I zoom in close, it looks slowly signed and changes of direction are unusually sharp, primarily on Lennon. The paper looks oddly fresh, too, for a 50+ year old autograph.

This is exactly my concern...

plus one,

It doesn’t feel right to me..

It looks "drawn"...not signed...IMO...
