what do you think of my Elvis Graph ?

Hi I see a lot of knowledgeable collectors here regarding Elvis! here is my Elvis graph and how I obtained it! I also like to go to garage sales as another hobby of mine and I stopped at this garage sale and the man selling stuff asked me if there is anything I am looking for ! I smiled and said do you have any autographs! usually they say do you want mine or something dumb but this guy said yea wait a minute as he ran into the house and soon after came out with a dollar signed by elvis ! I said where did you get this and he said he was working security when elvis was in town in the early 70s. I then said how much do you want and he said " I don't know how about 3 dollars" I payed him for it but always wondered if it was real ? seems like the graph is not perfect but on the other hand seems crazy that he would make up such a lie for a few dollars! please let me know what you all think =)

Sorry, the garage sale guy turned a dollar bill into 3 dollar bills. A different Elvis must have signed this one.

So he told a tale just to make a $2 profit? That’s strange. You would think he’d ask for perhaps $100 just to entice a potential buyer with the possibility of getting a real Elvis for dirt cheap while also getting some decent spending money. It’s puzzling. But, I agree, I don’t think it’s real.

Just clowning around a bit, James. Although the Elvis signature is not genuine. Why would someone save an Elvis signature for years to sell it for $3? Or $100 for that matter.

I really don’t know. Or did he really have it for a long time? I was thinking maybe he just ran into his house and signed it himself quickly. However, the autograph looks faded. Plus, it’s a Series 1969 bill, although bills that old are still floating around in circulation. It’s not all that old. But what are the chances he’d have ‘69 right there available? So that suspicion is probably wrong. So I guess he knew it was fake and just wanted to dump it.
