Whose autographs do you think are nearly impossible to authenticate.
I have tried to study Clint Eastwood and find in near impossible to authenticate with more than a 75% probability. Elvis takes it to another level and 60% would be my best guess. So, many secretaries etc. I couldn't collect an autograph with suspect authenticity.

I understand Kurt Cobain is a difficult one. My son is a big fan, and he's told me some real horror stories about trying to find a solid Kurt.
It's probably why signed cheques command premium prices. Look at George Harrison cheques c£1500

Many, many modern "autographs" fit this description. So many are really worthless scribbles that can't possibly be authenticated by a third party (though they do anyway for the sake of keeping the cash flowing in).
It's all about the money. Especially as there is no regulation. If it looks right, someone's going to take the bait.
Having a coa with the modern graphs when there's just so many of the same item or grading the item is just a prettier way for resale.
The current Eastwood signatures are not on difficult to tell, but the older ones that look like the secretarials are difficult.
The problem I have with the CE modern signatures, is the number of forgeries.
Here are some examples two from high-profile auction house sites and one with a PSA/DNA cert. If you were an authenticator which one(s) would you pass, and if so, what percentage of certainty?
