Hi,

I just noted this Rolling Stones item for sale on an international auction. They claim that this would include original autographs of the members of The Rolling Stones. Got via mail in 1966 (not in-person). The starting price is around 500 USD. Quite a good price for an item.

Original or not?

Look good to me and typical 1966 - they will probably go for around $1300 - $1500 at auction depending which auction house and if they are on thesaleroom.com or not.

Good????? It's 100% fake!!!!

Same hand is it not?

look at ‘a’ in each signature

Any of these autohraphs are real... For me same bad hand.

Perhaps fan club signed?

not real at all

I agree. I have seen a bit similar set

I apologise and with the benefit of hindsight (laptop rather than an phone) I agree they are likely to be fan club staff. What threw me is the Keith Richard is nearly identical to a genuine one I have from 1965. However looking closer, the M for Mick is unusual, the B for Brian unusual (although the Jones is good) and the B for Bill doesn't have the usual link from the base of the B to the i.

Thankfully there are many good opinions on here to be had. I will stick to Bowie!

I have seen a bit similar set sent to a Finnish woman (then young girl) from the fan club. Different colour pens Bill, Charlie and Keith authentic, Brian maybe and Mick secreterial or signed by another member of the band.

All fake and I repeat F A K E !!!

Did you see the set I'm talking about? The ones on this topic are all fake

The auction is still going on online. I just wrote to the auction house in Sweden and gave them a hint about our discussion. Link to the auction:
