This is for sale on eBay.  But I believe this Michael Jackson signed photo is a secretarial version.  What do you think?

Wascher , what is your opinion on this promo? https://www.ebay.com/itm/Michael-Jackson-signed-autographed-8x10-ph... Verified as authentic via Roger Epperson, definitely authentic imo as are most of the dangerous promos.

hello my friend, if you have any mj autographs in your collection can kindly show and share them with us?

Instead of me looking at the autograph on it (which is virtually impossible to see) - lets look at what you can see.

I've added the very first pic in this collage the item from that sale.  Then I've added a bunch more from some similar promos

Now here is a Love study done a few yrs ago by me, these are loves from all era's of his signatures from early 20's to his death on authentic pieces.  Can you see the differences?  If you go to the previous page as well - and look at all the LEGIT promo pics I posted yesterday as legit you'll see the same kind as below.  Now they are not always 100% like the above, but you gave me the eBay item to look at and I'm trying to show you what I can see on it.

Well done and very useful, thanks Wascher!

+1

i can see similiar  bends in the bottom L part of the love for both sets, and the v and e very similiar, the first 2 examples in the bottom set of loves you posted the J is remarkably different, and the 3rd example the J is the same as the dangerous promo photos.

ive explained in a earlier post about how his handwriting is different than just signing an autograph to someone he doesn't know

is your opinion that the autograph is not authentic?

and what did you think of the Tomkins and Bush signed items in which Lady Gaga bought 55 items of clothing auction at Juliens? i ask because i genuinely do not want fans getting ripped off https://www.nbclosangeles.com/news/local/NBC4-I-Team-Joel-Grover-In...

I am over here shaking my head at your "similar" comment, and saying that he even changes how he writes other words if its on promo's.

"So you think there's a chance.........."

As for the Gaga stuff.  There is an entire thread on the Bush Tompkins items.... most fans already know all about this - and have since the auction happened in 2011.   https://live.autographmagazine.com/forum/topics/michael-jackson-sig...  It'll take you several days to go thru it all, but if you have time and really want to learn how forgers work and about the style of the forgery in that auction, its a good read.  There are two signers in that auction btw, not one.  And neither is MJ.

wascher , the world of MJ collecting  didn't start in 2009 ;) i think you need to reschool yourself on every MJ autograph and not just a chosen few with handwriting, regarding the Bush Tompkins auction,im surprised you didn't say these were real ,so im pleasantly surprised, i don't think ive ever seen a harsher attempt to pass an autograph as this auction ,it seems they were going off the ' we are the world' signing period of MJ when his style was very big and brash, thanks i'll have a read of the thread about it.

Justin, Wascher is a well respected member here who has helped ALOT of people navigate MJ sigs.

You keep putting her down, but what are your credentials?

From what I can see on your post history (all 5 months of it, as you joined in Oct. 2018) it seems as if YOU are the one who needs to study more MJ.

Lets see all of your authentic MJ autos from your 35 yrs collecting him.

I’d love to see all those 25-30 different authentic sig styles you mentioned in another post.

Educate us?

I agree completely with just some dude.  While no one is ever a perfect autheticator, Wascher is the most knowledgeable MJ autograph person on AML and probably anywhere.  She is an incredible student/master of this beloved icon’s autograph.  She has immense knowledge in this area.  That’s not to say someone can’t disagree with her, but just know...this ain’t her first rodeo.

James and just some dude,i take on board your advice, it's good you have a trusted member here, and i apologise for being flippant to wascher, it's probably not the first or last time you have someone here who disagrees with something, but i would like to point out that on the autograph to Elizabeth Taylor on the previous page,MJ signed 'L' two different ways in the same dedication, so when i say he has many different styles i hope that some of you can see what i mean.
