The good news is, none of the authenticators here care if a signature has an LOA. They only go by the autograph itself... and they’re extremely helpful
Thanks D R,
that’s why I posted, LOA is still an opinion & I’m sure there are several experts here that might either confirm or question the authenticity
Any thoughts about this would be much appreciated. I would believe some people on this site would be able to offer an opinion on this Mantle autograph. Thanks in advance.
Thanks Gratefulphish, I didn’t realize I had it upside down
There’s some unusual stuff going on with the k and the y. However, I do believe this is authentic. Everything else looks pretty good. You never know...he might have been bump or the pen slipped a little and perhaps that caused the small inconsistencies.
my first thought says its good..but it is not one that i would purchase....doubting they are giving it away...there are nicer ones out there that can be found at a fair price....he had such a pretty autograph, nor was his autograph cheap. Just my opinion, but for me, the moment i brought this one home, i would be unsatisfied and be seeking a more attractive one....If i was only going to have one mantle autograph, this would not be the one...
again...my opinion...
thanks
Thanks Tim, I appreciate your opinion. I looked at a number of them and based on James’ comment, focused on the K and they appear to be “connected” vs fragmented. I’m guessing you feel it’s legit but not the one Mantle graph you would choose. I was just planning on one myself. Thanks again, the comment was helpful.
