Hi everyone,

I won an Ebay auction for an Avengers Endgame signed poster. I found this website after I won it and now believe this is fake. Can anyone help me, please? Link to auction is below (i did not pay the shown amount for it). Please tell me if the link is not working

Very fake, ongoing ebay scam. Marvel does not issue COAs, or holograms or stamps.

Yep. There are scads of fake Stan Lee signed Marvel character posters with the phony Marvel COAs.

Thank you very much, Mike.

Justin,

With Mike T's insight you now know the absolute truth. I'd tell the seller not to ship, file a complaint with eBay, and send them both a link to this discussion.

You'll be just fine.

I would like to thank everyone who helped me through this. I really appreciate everyone who wants to protect the hobby.

Mike T, what are your thoughts on the seller's The Force Awakens poster?  It has me a bit puzzled, but the autographs look pretty typical.

TFA poster is real, but missing almost the entire main cast, $5500 for a bunch of small names is laughable.

My thoughts exactly about the authenticity and cast.  Harrison Ford’s autograph is very hard to see, and it is apparently smudged.  Hopefully someone will purchase it as a charitable contribution to St. Jude’s.  There are still some decent names on it, and it can still be added to, with the exceptions of Kenny and Carrie.

Mike, how'zabout this one!

Is this a joke? Stan is suppose to have signed this? That is a "Stan Lee" attempt, isn't it? As ridiculous a try as it is? Forged from memory, maybe? From a 1990s exemplar of a forgery? A botched forgery of an old, botched forgery?

Terrible fakes

That Lee is such an anachronistic hodge-podge, a medley, based on characteristics from older Lee signatures, so far removed from the signing characteristics of Stan Lee 2014 to the end of 2018, that I had to spell out the name several times to make sure it was a *horrific (*I owe Chris a quarter for the use of that word) "Stan Lee" attempt and that my eyes weren't playing tricks on me.

There is that figure eight again, Woody.
