If real, this would be a vintage MJ autograph.  It comes with an LOA from Beckett.  Did Beckett get it right?

I'm not a Jordan guy, but I have seen quite a few of the unquestionable ones (companies with witnessed signings), but one continuous track start to finish? No separation between the 'l' and the 'J'? No separation anywhere? A few stutters and pen twists here and there too. Beckett or not, I would pass if were I in the market for one.

I hear you.  It’s an ugly example, but his earlier signatures were much different from his Upper Deck autographs.

Here's a couple more. The first one JSA and the second one claims to be UDA.

Good question. We have a Michael Jordan forum now. You can search for other examples:

Ok, thanks, Steve.  I’ll switch it over there after awhile.

No rush. I haven't announced the new forums yet. I just wanted to mention it.

This style that’s presented in my OP is actually quite similar to an earlier (pre-UDA) Jordan style.  If real, I think this would have been signed probably in the late 80s.  Our member Randy, I believe, is familiar with these and has a better eye than I for these.

it looks way off to me

It’s definitely irregular.  The thing that gets me is I’ve not only seen Beckett authenticate this style, but JSA as well.  But even if real it might one harder to sell in the future because it’s unusual...and maybe not authentic too.

My MJ uda Jersey,

im not sure if it helps but the op looks different then my  uda jersey , not sure if it’s because of the surface are because it’s an older signature in the op but I would question why someone would get a baseball signed by Jordan in the 80s cause he didn’t start playing professionally until mid early 90s ?

Just something to think over best of luck

You bring up a great point.  Jordan left the NBA I believe after the 1993 Championship to play baseball.  He also started signing for UDA I believe in 1993 or 1994, and we know his UDA sig is much different than this. And you would think he likely wouldn’t have started signing baseballs as you suggest until around this time as well...so there shouldn’t be that much variation one would think.

I moved this to the new Michael Jordan forum. It’ll be transparent for the members posting here. You don’t have to do anything.
