That’s probably why I got offered them for $2800. I know there’s a little water damage, but still...that price would be too good to be true, don’t you?
Someone apparently purchased it for $2,500. Unbelievable.
Looking at it more closely, I can see where the signs are pretty far off. Worst of all is the Paul, I think.
But in the case of something like this, it would seem almost pointless to sell this fake unless you’re banking on the buyer not sending it to a TPA. But if the buyer does send this right away to PSA, JSA or BAS, it’s going to get rejected, and then the buyer will be opening a case and get a refund. Of course, they’re still going to be out the $300 or so for the authentication.
It’s possible that the buyer will seek a quick opinion prior to paying for the item, and then cancel the sale. If so, you’ll see it relisted very soon.
