Would you (or wouldn't) restore Paul and Ringo's signatures on this item if you owned it?

This John and George signed item from 1967 was recently posted on Tracks. It is noted that Paul and Ringo also signed It, but had sadly faded.

You can still see where both Ringo and Paul signed. Just a curiosity question for the group. Would you have this restored or keep as is?

Paul,

Would you like to email Jaime Mendez and ask him how he restores writing? Send him the image in the OP if you do.

He specializes in the Beatles. Hakiman had Mandez do his photo restoration. Yeah I could shoot him an email. I'm interested on how he would restore say for e.g. the signed revolver lp.

I own a Lennon document that is fading pretty bad ,I actually thought about restoration and showed it to Jaime, and we both immediately agreed to let an old dog lay.

It was an easy decision.i personally don't consider a restored sig anoriginal anymore ,the desirability is pretty much gone.what you have left is a kinda traced over original .

Imo definitely against it.

So that more or less leaves collectors up the creek without a paddle. If collectors are paying thousands of dollars for The Beatles signed items and there fading why buy them. Post a pic of the item you were thinking of having restored.

I've seen items restored early that have been saved.

Mate that's an art pen  of some kind. So can Jamie restore ball point easier?

The only thing not worth restoring are Michael jackson graphs!

It looks like a felt tip.im sure he can restore ball point too.

The art pens , felt tips would be much more difficult than touching up a ball point pen. If your Lennon was ball point I'd restore it but felt tip , I'd be concerned of the finished product. Death to that document!

I actually have it in mylar in my safe.Hopefully it hangs on for my lifetime .

Haki you should lk  sell me the john and Ono photo.
