You changed your logo for the first time since you joined! May I ask why?

Is Beckett authenticating the book any ore compelling than them authenticating Philfatt McCartney forgeries? To me it's less compelling because they're signed first editions out there by the hundreds or thousands—whoever signed them.

Agreed Steve.

I changed my logo months ago in response to a Jimi Hendrix discussion. It has nothing to do with JLL.

Is the authentication more compelling in this case? Maybe so. If the authenticator has a compelling reason as to why the book signature was authenticated, then yes.

I didn't notice it! I didn't think it as in response to JLL.

Any TPA can get things wrong.  Happens all the time.  I still say books not signed by JLL.  I come to that conclusion from any of the IPs I got or paid TTMs I have received from him over the years.  I think thats a decent basis to decide upon , maybe more so than a person at Beckett.

In that case, can we say that the New Orleans Jazz Fest prints aren’t signed by JLL?

I just mean they don't always get things right.

True. The authenticator(s) would have to explain how they reached that conclusion. Otherwise, you don’t know how familiar they are with the book signatures or with JLL signatures in general.

I honestly believe that in most situations, the knowledge with our members exceeds the competence of many of these large, unspecialized "we know everything" TPA's.  I trust the opinion of several members here, Ballroom included, over that of the TPA's

and Eric of course!

;)  All of us bring something to the table. I  strongly agree with Terrier - the sum of us!
