Mantle Legit?


Hi all -

Came across this Mantle ball. Thoughts on the ball (I’m still learning to identify fakes)? It looks like a fake to me, “k” looks too high and the “tle” looks too spread apart and slanted. It’s on a Budig ball which was an instant red flag - though the seller prefaced the conversation saying Mantle signed it “months before his death.”

The 2nd one is Upper Deck with original box, green bag, original COA.  Didn't mantle have a contract with UDA?

Yes, Mantle did have a contract with UDA, but he also signed for anyone who asked and also did some autograph shows.  I got him in person myself a few times.

Just got a better look with glasses on and I think you are ok with these two.
