Ebay seller awkward_patrick sells many fakes.
This first handwritten note was sold for 400£.

I'm sorry but they are not good fakes.
You can see that there are too many stops when writing, and that it was written shakily.

Totally agree, but better than others ;)

The  Hello Steven note is actually exact handwriting from real notes but traced into a new forgery.  The writing was on point, but I was a bit weirded out by how new the paper was, and told the buyer to be careful that this is not some sort of copy or tracing.  Yesterday after I stared at it a bit more (the buyer now had it in hand and sent me new pics)  I started looking at other notes and started overlaying things....

The top part of that note is traced from an authentic note to Brooke

The Uncle Doo Doo and M.J. part is from an authentic note to his nephew Taj.

The seller Awkward_Patrick has been discussed by myself and Lizzie before - however I had hoped he was just flipping items, but I have a feeling some of his are his own work.  He told the seller to keep it and refunded his money because bad feedback was left for him.  eBay then took the bad feedback down (because of the refund likely)---which of course allows him to continue selling without being tarnished.

 Great detective work!

I wonder if this is also a '2nd cousin' of the above- the 'Steven and 'please' look quite similar?

Great detective work Wascher!  You are the Queen of MJ handwriting / signatures.

This guy has now changed his name to memorabilia collector UK now...he was trying to sell me stuff a few weeks ago that looked suspect!! See pic
