I see what you are saying, but I don't think those two albums were done by the same person. Maybe both are forgeries, but both came from different sources. Tracks had one and sold it for around $18K. Why would the forger go to a middle of the end auction house (that doesn't sell music memorabilia), when they could've gone to a high end place.

Maybe the forger tried to get that Zep LP into other auction houses and was rejected -- we'll never know. As we DO know Bolton Auctions will take anything with few questions asked. (They have fake Elvis, Springsteen, and others in same auction).

Could be print or what? But the signature is similar but not the same... strange... the signatures are all correct... i don't like felt pen in autographs... but there are in this signed album also normal pen... and are perfect signatures... Bohnam and Jon Paul...

It wasn’t tracks’s to begin with it changed hands it was on eBay before tracks bought it

All the dealers and high end collectors no of all auction houses so it doesn’t affect price one bit

Just want to say this as well. I know that Led Zep albums were considered very rare (and are) but I can tell you in my exemplar files I have 50 albums. Led Zeppelin were a huge band for over 10 years. They signed a lot for crew members, employees, and some fans. I bet you there are SO many more albums out there too. Don't make it seem like they are non-exsistent. They were a huge band for a while.

That being said, I do agree that the authenticity of this album is very shaky but I don't think it has any relation to the marker one. This one's page is weird, the bonham is slightly weird and JPJ looks like a mimic.

so which one  is the one that Tracks sold?

The marker one with one in blue pen (Bonham top left)

The Bolton Auctions description has now been amended to state that this comes with a Tracks LOA.

Tracks coa!? Strange items...

its so fishy

The one in the original post just sold for 12,500 pounds hammer price. (Approx. $19,500 after fees).  I guess the "Tracks" LOA put it over the top.   If anyone sees any similar signed ones please post for discussion.

I am fairly certain that the £12,500 is with BP, so it is less than $19,500
