Just Out of Curiosity

This guy sold on eBay from a $.99 starting bid for $3,500 the other day. When I saw it, I knew something wasn’t right and I just wanted to get your opinions to see if my hunch was right. Supposedly gotten somewhere in mid/1963 and shipped from Hamburg.

edit: I didn’t purchase this, by the way, just wanted your opinions!

The marker may give this feeling but they are authentic. That being said, it was sold for around 50k$ (by Bonhams I believe) and the price now asked for it is crazy. However, this is quite unique and there is no other like this one...
