That autograph looks lifeless. Maybe a stamped or machined signature. Any chance of a good well lit closeup of the autograph so I can see the brush strokes?
In my humble opinion, this could be real. I am thrown off by the very thick marker that was used.
Thanks David, I believe its real too, its definitely ink on the photo, not a pre print, looks too good to be secretarial and the look of the ink close up, looks like the sharpie was moving fast as it would be when signed not copied. Also doesn't look even enough to be autopen I dont think as well as it was a locally developed photo as apposed.to a print that may be used to give to fa s with the autopen autograph done in bulk.
Theyre my thoughts on it, are yours similar David?
Regards
Toby
Toby, The signature bears characteristics of his real autograph. I said this could be real because of that. If you study 3rd party authenticated for sale and sold on the net. His autographs rarely just abruptly ends, the ink line lightens up when the pen is being lifted. Pen pressure varies when you sign your name. Your Cranston is like a solid thickness of ink. I have a couple of his in person. I can't rule yours out but I would never buy it either. My humble opinion.
I doubt that was a ttm. Bryan was great ttm for many years pre Breaking Bad. And he also personalized ttm.
Quite interesting and confusing. The way it's cut off on the left side, the thick marker used, the way the "n" in Cranston ends instead his usual S, and the overall lack of flow. I want to say it's autopen, but I see what looks like feathering, which you wouldn't get on an autopen.
Sorry, its not cut off the side, it is just under matting... that is my bad.
