The blue one struck me as good but between its abbreviated nature and the ink bleed I would certainly avoid it.

Good question, Michael!

This is one of those "rack 'em up" autographs like Mike Wehrman, John Brennan, and other major IP pros would sometimes get. They'd go to the celeb with a stack, small or large, and the IP pro would slide the one just signed off the top and onto the bottom of the stack, leaving skid marks, so the celeb could sign the next one.

The M is classic MJ, the 'e' is the right height and is upright (upright to left in this compact style is OK), and the shape of the left side of the 'L' looks like Jackson.

This is probably John Brennan since he's been selling at auction the last few years.

A number of Marcus in person signings are very rushed like the M Jackson mentioned as I was looking at a number of them only last week but he is very ethical and well thought of in the business

It would be difficult to sell once purchased. No one is got to buy it off you.

It's unusual but I think there's a decent chance it's real. I need to see similar ones to have a higher degree of confidence and I don't have the exemplar library that Wascher has.

It's a bad investment. Try selling that later on. Walk away, unless you've got money to burn. I've said it before, go for an earlier one. It's a much safer bet. It's your money. There's a decent chance it's real and there's an equal chance it's not.

I need to be over 90% sure an item is authentic before purchase. What percentage would you place on this?

I do agree..when I first saw it I initially thought authentic and obviously with markus's reputation It felt good... although like yourself I starting noticing little odditys that made me uncomfortable so once I get that I stay away..

Shame because he does have a solid rep..
