As strange as it may seem to be, I think that it is authentic.
Except Bruce has never signed an autograph where he spelled his last name with 2 "T's before. This would be a first. It's too atypical in my opinion to take a chance on.
The loop seems to have disconnected. I noticed that as well.
Why is the s after the t. Did he forget how to spell his name?
Good question:-)!
True. I also just realized what Bruce Juice was referring to regarding the “t”s. I still think that it may be authentic. It is too strange for a forger to waste time on, even though “Bernstein” is a common name. Samuel, what is the history of the item?
It was on Ebay for a long time (sold now for $ 325) and nobody bidded on it. To me it also looked authentic, but.... Obviously, there are some issues with it, and $ 325 would be a bargain for a vintage full name Bruce sig?
That seems like a fair price. It is only his last name, and it is personalized. It seems to be something that was done for fun by request. The misspelling remains an issue.
The way it's signed "S P R I N G S T / S T E E N would keep me away from this one. I've seen about 1000 Bruce autographs but never one he signed like this.
I agree. The baseline also seems to have slightly dropped after the first “t”.
