$325
Deluxe limited edition.
The Deluxe Edition is limited to 2500 pieces. I read somewhere the autographed edition is limited to 150 pieces, but it's not mentioned on this product page. Premiere did state on Facebook they have only 25 available.

yes but if I was paying all that money and expecting a signed book I might not be that amused but no doubt about it, - its a classy sig
I agree. I was a bit disappointed to get a signed 45 sleeve and not the book signed. When you are advertising a signed book I would expect the tome to be signed. I think people paid so much expecting to have a signed book spanning her career which would be really special.
I have a light blue sleeve and it is signed in black sharpie. I like your silver sharpie better but I’m not complaining. Happy to have gotten a copy.
Very nice, hope you enjoy! Yeah, glad you feel the same and surprised it was handled like this.
Rizzoli Bookstore has copies in stock while they last: https://www.rizzolibookstore.com/dolly-parton-songteller-signed-lim...
.Thanks for the link.Still in stock 3 hours after your post and shipping to the UK is under £30.
Yeah, I’m still a little disappointed and surprised it was handled this way. This article from 7/20 indicated that only the sleeve would be signed, but this is only thing I’ve found that said that.

Descriptions on Chronicle and Premier did not mention, and Premier’s seems particularly misleading. I’m glad to have an officially sourced sig that I can display but not what I was expecting.

Sorry, correct link to article
Right, that occurred to me too so trying to keep in perspective…$75 markup for signed edition seems more than fair but not sure how they reached $250 price point for the unsigned special edition to begin with (I guess because it’s limited to 2500)…don’t get me wrong, happy to have it and would have bought anyway but clarity would have been nice when spending that kind of money! Nice that it’s limited to only 150 copies too.
That’s how I’m looking at it. I’m a huge Dolly fan. If she were selling hand signed 45s for $75 I’d be all over that. So I’m just accepting that.
I do think though that it’s very shady to sell a “signed edition” on book websites and not sell a signed book. I mean part of the appeal is having a book that documents her entire career signed by the woman herself. Shady indeed.
But the books are daaammmn heavy. I can’t imagine lugging them for her to sign. She prob got a stack of 150 45 sleeves.
In my mind I was thinking she stopped by the publishers office and signed the tomes. Clearly not.
They hardly ever do that anymore. When it comes from the publisher it's most often an extra page that's signed and inserted when the books are being bound.
