I'm really liking this photo but before I buy it I want to make sure it's an authentic signature?

Any help would be very much appreciated and thanks!

I know there are tons of Rose autos on eBay, I may have found the one!

Rose fakes occupy the same rarified air of Bob Feller fakes. Despite both men signing a zillion autographs that are available very inexpensively, astonishingly, fakes exist.

it's said that one of the most successful forgers of all time plied his trade for 50 or 60 years and not once got caught. He only counterfeited dollar bills, and spent them sparingly, slipping in a few here and there in with, and augmenting his legitimate money, in that way never appearing on the radar. I'm not 100% sure but I think authorities only found out about it and his counterfeiting tools through a deathbed confession! Aim small, miss small.

A genious compared to Hans Van Meegeren!

Here's an authentic version of the exact same picture (8x10) that coincidentally is PSA certified for $24.99 (Shipped :)

Thank you, I get paid next week! There's just something about this particular photo, maybe because I almost bought a fake? Something though... HaHa

Some people love a quick buck I suppose!

Everybody loves a quick buck. It's unfortunate that some can still love themselves after earning those quick bucks dishonestly, at the expense of others.

I've had conversations with forgers. Candidly. After I've pointed out their fakes and they realized they weren't getting anywhere with me with lies, they've come clean and talked about it. Surprisingly, very few were actually happy about doing it. Some people get over, and even if the payoff is as little a dollar, it doesn't matter. They're just happiest when they put one over on someone. Winning "the game". Some forgers are like that, but most aren't. The ones that I talked to anyway. They honestly seem like they'd rather be doing something else. Something helpful. Giving people value for their money. They simply don't know how and this is easier for them to survive and pay bills. And I honestly believe their eventual candor. It must be very disconcerting to be fooling lots of folks and then have someone appear in fron of you that can see right through you and all of the fakes. Separate the good from the bad right there in front of their eyes, it catches them completely off guard. I'm an excellent read. Very hard to fool me. And most that I've confronted and shocked, once they drop the pointless charade, really don't like what they're doing.

It's disgusting seeing all the fakes out there... I recently started collecting other auto's besides wrestling and I'm very nervous! Now I've heard PSA authenticates a lot of fakes so I rely on this site for everything because I hate wasting money and don't trust any sellers!

Hand writing analysis isn't a perfect science and they are suppose to compare signed pieces to known examples. Peoples handwriting changes overtime for many reasons. Why they say in their opinion, the signed item is authentic.

Pete Rose not only signed a lot of autographs, he also sold fakes for whatever the reason. Doubt his autograph will be worth much ? Just too much other there.  Can compare it to  this, but should have it authenticated. 20220206_230525.jpg
