I moved this to the Elton John forum where it should get more action

The ‘Elton’ looks like his in person signings from shows, but don’t like the ‘John’ part. That said, if it was signed at one of his shows, that could be the case, as he used to sign a lot for the front of the stage.

+1. I think it's good but I don't study him that much. "John" concerned me too but both names flow well together.

I agree, the Elton looks spot on but the rest is almost too neat in comparison

The J is concave to the left when it's usually straight or concave slightly right. I still think it's likely real but there are some great forgers.

here is one he signed for me in 2000 quickly at NBC studios.  I think it compares favorably for the most part.  His signature varies quite a bit

Here is another from a Tower records in-store in L.A. while he was seated although signed quickly.  All these are similar in some fashion and are much different to the ones he sold off his website recently which are supposedly real but I dont like them.  His signature changed

This one is the only one of the ones so far in this thread that looks real to me.

I can assure you the Honky Chateau LP is real.  I got it in person.

Oh gosh, sorry I didn't read that, I was just looking at the pictures! No offence intended.

Oh no worries.  I just wanted folks to know that one and the CD are surely real

That is a nice one
