Hello,
I was really hoping for some perspective on these 3 autographs of Sitting Bull, Buffalo Bill, and Annie Oakley. They have been in my family and passed down through the years. I sent them in to get encapsulated through PSA, but they denied it, Actually they have denied everything over the last 2 months I have sent them (even one I had a pic of them signing the item). Usually I buy off e-bay (85% of the time trusted sellers ) heritage or wherever after taking a close look and sending them in to get authenticated through BSA, PSA, or JSA. If they get denied I go through the refund route, however this is differnet as they have been in my family for maybe since they were signed 120 years ago (still tracking it down with my father) I feel like since I sent some junk in during the past it's why I got denied and would love opions on his. If you ever send stuff in and it not authenticated do you get black listed in a way ?

"....Sitting Bull autographs on playing cards are phony, period...."
There are photographs of Sitting Bull and Oakley:
The first thing that stood out to me was the similarity between the B in Buffalo Bill and Sitting Bull.
I did not even get that far. The presentation had me looking for others with unnatural wear and sharp corners and only abrasive wear with no creases. Now we know they are all fakes.
As far as a "blacklist" there is way too much money to be made processing new submissions than keeping lists etc. At least that kind IMO.
Great work everyone on the internet searches.
They are indeed fantasy pieces, and quite frankly look like it.
The rubber stamps really bothered me. They are apparently haphazardly placed, but very consistent in their haphazardness. They are the focal point of the cards - the placement of the signatures is done to accommodate the stamps. On one card, poor Buffalo Bill had to sign through the diamond rather than in an open area. If the autographs were legitimate then they would be the focal point on the cards.
