Authenticity is Everything
Babe Ruth, Ty Cobb and Mickey Mantle - authentic?
HI, I have the opportunity to purchase these three items signed by Ruth, Cobb and Mantle. I would appreciate opinions on their authenticity. Thanks in advance for all feedback.

The Mantle is plainly not authentic IMO.
I also have doubts about the Ruth and Cobb. They are both "items of opportunity." Meaning, old items that just happen to be old enough to be signed by them, so that is what the forger used. A meat market receipt and the top of a sherbet cup... likely both bought at a flea market for 25 cents each and used by the forger because they are old enough to have been signed by Ruth and Cobb.
