Many movie and television stars appeared as guest stars (though they were never referred to as such on the show) on TAGS. Among the stars that were on the show were Buddy Ebsen, Charlie Ruggles, Edgar Buchanan, Everett Sloane, Alan Hale, Jr., Bob Denver, John Dehner, Jack Albertson, Leon Ames, and many others who appeared as "guest stars" on an episode of TAGS. Elsewhere, I think I have my Jack Nicholson autograph in the comment section. I am not including him here because he was in two episodes.

Scott, again, thank you for posting these beautiful pieces of history.
Thank you, Christopher I appreciate that so much.
COLIN MALE (1925-1996) was the announcer for 95 episodes of TAGS and appeared as an actor in one episode. My own personal way of thinking is an announcer is more of a crew member like the director than an actor. I know others will disagree, but that is how I list him in with my own collection. That is why I only consider him for his one acting performance on the show. Male appeared in many different shows playing small roles in most of them including one episode of Gunsmoke. He played the game warden in the TAGS episode "Andy and Helen Have Their Day" in 1964. His autograph is scarce. This is from his WWII draft registration card.
PAUL FIX (1901-1983) to use a terrible pun he was fixture in both big screen and small screen westerns, but there was much more to this talented man. Fix appeared in the horror classic DR CYCLOPS playing Dr. Mendoza in 1940. He was the grandfather in THE BAD SEED. He appeared on Wagon Train, Gunsmoke, The Wild Wild West, Lassie, Perry Mason and many others. He is best known as "Micah" on The Rifleman. He was on the original pilot episode of Star Trek that was later made into a two-part episode for the series. In the TAGS episode "Barney Hosts a Summit" Paul Fix plays the owner of a mansion that Barney volunteers without his permission. This a signed card courtesy of DWSMcGraph.
Scott, many don't remember Mr. Fix in the pilot episode of Star Trek with the great (and died too young) Jeffrey Hunter at the helm.
That is right Christopher. Jeffrey Hunter was a great actor and only 42 when he died. He was so good in THE LONGEST DAY, THE SEARCHERS and of course KING OF KINGS.
Do you remember the movie Sergeant Rutledge where Jeffrey Hunter played the lawyer. A favorite of mine.
Absolutely, he was great in that. The great Woody Strode at his finest too. I miss those old westerns.
ARTHUR BATANIDES (1923-2000) he often played either crooks or cops in scores of roles on television and the movies. His last work was as old Mr. Kirkland in some of the POLICE ACADEMY movies. He had a memorable role in the original Star Trek episode "That Which Survives." He played the tough escaped convict Ralph Neal in the episode "Barney's Bloodhound." Like many character actors his autograph is seldom encountered. This is from his World War II draft registration.
