I think an equal allotment went out, meaning a lot to the indies (some pretty small indies got a copy). BAM didn’t get enough to fill the ~100 they sold. Probably enough to fill the first few orders they got maybe. B&N got some sort of extremely limited inventory. Amazon and Indigo same deal. There was never going to be enough of these to justify preorders like a typical release. The booksellers don’t know that when they list it, it’s just another widget to them, they don’t know or care if it’s one thing or another.
I won’t be disappointed when my BAM order get cancelled. I’m just glad I got my copy.

You know, I never even heard of this website until I started researching how to get a signed copy. If I hadn't found this thread, I seriously doubt I would have ever obtained one. I'd still be waiting for my amazon.fr order to be canceled.

Didn't get the email. They cancelled my order for no apparent reason and now these are in stores?

They also cancelled mine but didn’t get a cancellation notice and all they said was we are sorry you didn’t receive it my only hope now is with BAM not looking good lol

I have one from B&N that is supposed to be delivered today but it stopped tracking once it left New Jersey 3 days ago, so if that one gets lost then I have to hope either BAM comes through, they said they were expecting to receive stock for the remaining orders in mid-December but it seems doubtful. or indigo who I haven't heard anything from and we know they oversold. sure hoping I don't go 0 for 3
