Looks like a decent amount of the US shops will just be auctioning their copie(s). Only found the book on a couple of the US webshops and it was listed as out of stock for $1500. Other places referenced auctions.

I'm skeptical about one of the Irish bookstores.... I purchased it at 1:25pm (Eastern Time) and it's still available...

If it’s the one I’m thinking of it says available but you can’t actually add it to your basket or check out

I think you're right, I ordered it from Kenny's in Ireland

Thanks again for posting!

The page has now also been taken down! A good sign - hope we get them!

I just ordered from them a month ago - very good customer service. They might have nabbed it in turn from one of the bigger sites, as that happened with the item I bought from them.

Lol at the stores auctioning these off

Not as bad as these guys juts trying to sell it for 4k:  https://www.flyleafbooks.com/mccartney-signed-2023

or $3500 starting price:  https://shop.lostcitybookstore.com/1964deluxesigned

Werent the signed lyrics books going for 7-10k at some point? Its a mark-up for sure, but might be a decent price considering limited and demand? Not a Beatlemaniac myself, just curious?

I think you are right, but imo it is still crappy for bookstores to sell a preorder book for 2-3x the suggested publisher's price ($1500 in this case). Similar to when some stores were trying to sell the $50 Cormac McCarthy book set for $700+.

Auctions I don't really have any issue with, unless you are starting it at 3500+.

Yeah. I get that. I bet a good amount of the books dont even see the light of day though. Straight to the owners personal stash!

4K is a deal.
