It was totally unexpected so rather a fanboy chat - told him I have seen him live multiple times and that my kids dig Grandude books and that it was great way of introducing them to his/Beatles music. He was very humble and accomodating, as he is in low-key situations when he's not being mobbed.

Also, I believe there may be 175 copies each for US (and Japan) and UK. I swear I saw two different copies of #164 of the Lyrics on eBay with very different (and let’s be honest, very poor) signatures. Did anyone else notice such duplicates?

You are correct - I do believe 2 x 175 copies for each region. Probably the very same with this release - so you kinda see why they get shaky and rushed, when you ask ex-Beatle to sign 350 autographs in one go...

Seems like it is indeed 350 copies in total. From Paul's monthly newsletter - "This month, 350 Special Limited Edition copies of the book became available for pre-order – each one signed by Paul! Check out the list of participating retailers in the UK and US."

  1. Hi , I’m new hear but looks a great site , been collecting books for a year or so , did anyone buy this from the national portrait gallery shop  ? I got a copy last night sold out pretty quick think most would of missed it as it wasn’t listed as a place stocking it . They have copies as there holding a show displaying  pictures from the book  .
