It's the £750 version I'm really interested in. Limited to 150 copies, comes with strings, plectrums and other bits used by Hetfield. It was listed same day as original on Metallica site

Release is less than a month.Cant wait and hope it doesnt turn into a Dylan flop

I was thinking the same thing, with Liam and Elton.

Do we trust Premier Collectables??

I have bought many times from them, they are legit. The thing is the publisher not the distributor. If the publisher circulates half of the edition in autopens then distributor cant do anything since he has placed an initial order on the book

People trusted Banquet, until they didn't. Premiere has doubled down on BS before and would've done the same with Dylan had the backlash not been swift and overwhelming. Seemed like their Hetfield listing was up for quite a while, but that was probably just my paranoia. Were there any order limits on Hetfields' signed stickers, or bookplates?

No limits I believe, I thought PC had, had history?!?

Anybody on the Metclub forums? Has it been mentioned??

I think you're right about the no limits Allginger, which doesn't seem like a great sign. Premiere provided "COA's" on MBBX (I guess the jury's still out on that so far) and was trying to do the same with Dylan's. Should be exciting anyways.

Premiere has provided "COAs" on at least a few books over the years that have ended up being Autopen and it's just my opinion but that makes the COAs worthless no matter what the publisher sends them. That piece of paper is saying that they have inspected the items and deemed them to be authentic so obviously, they don't know how to authenticate or don't care that they were autopen and put their COA in any way. that being said I still try with them on the really big names like Hetfield because I have gotten a lot from them over the years that was good

The same signed book has been sold on the official Metallica website.

If this turns out to be autopen, Metallica are going to get hit with really bad news. They (the band) would never allow such a thing to happen, especially with Lars managing so much of their business.

yeah, I wasn't suggesting that these would be Autopen, and also believe they will be fine. if I remember correctly they sold out in a reasonable amount of time for a higher priced book. I'm just saying that when you repeatedly put your COA into books that are autopen then you lose all credibility that you know what you are doing, or just don't care that they are fake.

Honestly, I'm pretty comfortable on the Premiere, and the Metallica books. I'm more worried about the Geddy Indigo books all getting cancelled for some stupid reason!

But they are collectors themselves.. blah blah blah.. we should trust them.. Worst marketing tactic ever when they can't even admit when products they sell turn out to be facsimile.. They will lie whenever they see fit.. collectors HA.. more like mafia style professional flippers.. its a buisness. Their main goal is profit but can't see past the items they currently sell. They are alienating themselves within our community. Any backlash wont be tollerated. as long as they sell out their products, this will continue. Its a gamble dealing with them. You better hope the product turns out ok. If it doesn't, be ready for a fight.... sorry, i still harbor some resentment
