This may be an unpopular opinion, but I suspect when they get slammed with orders from a forum like this, they cancel orders in lieu of selling to their local market. Have had this happen more often than usual lately.

They shipped mine. Mom and Pop bookstores probably get a pretty limited allocation. Once they are on a forum like this the inventory probably runs out fast. Unfortunately, small stores don't have real-time inventory. So it is what it is. You take your shot and if it doesn't work- you look for another place.

When is the book release date? I ordered one under a different email than I have now (old one got hacked and I had to delete it...long story) so I hope it will still be a good order.
