Someone purchased this some 30 years ago at auction...

It's the first time back on the market?

That I don't know Steve...but his stuff is still out there fooling people...

Terrible. I wonder how many people are still the original owner of a Joe Long set.

I have so many auction catalogs from years ago...all the big auction houses...and those early catalogs have quite a few "Joe Long's"...and most people have no idea who he is...

I am very surprised. I trust you a lot Jim, and if you hadn't said it, I would have sworn that this was an authentic Full Set

Wow! I'm really surprised, it's almost perfect writing, I had already heard of Joe Long but I didn't know how good he could be

Joe was one of the earliest dealers in Beatles autographs back in the late 1980's and early 1990's. One day he saw that he could forge pretty well. Soon...he would sell his Beatles forgeries along with the real stuff. He did really well. As I stated earlier...soon lots of the major auction houses were selling Joe Long's forgeries as the real thing. I have a Beatles auction catalog from years back with a Joe Long signed Beatles photo on the cover! In the early 1990's...he was "outed" by Frank Caiazzo.

Wow, the man is good! but I am beginning to identify his slight errors in writing, if there is a defined pattern
