On the page, I can't spot it saying "signed" anywhere...

That is also a very good shout - I just checked my order and I had ordered 2 copies of the unsigned hardcover. The signed edition is limited to one per customer. To find it, click on "Other Formats/Editions".

Well this is the new norm I’m afraid, Andreas, so you’d better get used to it.

Old-school authors who have spent considerable time during their careers sitting in their publishers’ offices signing new books, and going on the road to promote them, are one thing -  “celebrities” are another kettle of fish.
