Here is a German postcard of Anna Magnani.

Is there a possibility the signature is real?

Eddy.

Here is mine From Gary or Tom:

C. 1951

So what do you think of the one I posted? 🤔

I have to find my exemplars. It does appear a bit well placed which seems odd for her. The slant appears atypical. I have to look at my exemplars. I think DP (David Paul) has one as well.

I'm going to put the OP image up on our Autograph Hounds FB and see if there are any responses.  Some pretty sharp eyes regarding vintage film autographs over there.

Still hoping for anyone else over here as well.  Miss some of our film folk from days gone by.

I can't locate the hard drive with my exemplars so I grabbed some good exemplars from RR in the meanwhile to compare with your SP.

From what I can see, I might pass on the OP.

Thanks.  I'm coming to the conclusion that the OP is questionable as well.

Yes, it seems off. Most welcome. There is one at Gabe's in a large vintage autograph album but I read it twice and can't find it at the moment.

I had a fellow member message me off thread that they don't believe in it either.  I'd say it's one of the Berlin-based fan service postcard mailings.

Stops and starts, frozen baseline, etc.

Indeed. I was just looking at the ink and sig but the source was also suggestive. The sig looks like a rough simulation.

I looked again, that was a different name in the book at Gabe's. I misread it.

Interesting source. Same as mine. I paid I LOT more than $165.00
