I have had orders cancelled by them before. Worth a try but get a back up if you can

Im kinda thinking these will get cancelled unless he signed a lot... but I'll definitely hope for a backup if at all possible. Id really like to get one of them.

Thanks Mark for the Bookshop link, I have managed to get a copy, so truly grateful. After ordering I had a query that there were two payments pending so reached out to them. They were very responsive and I asked how many signed copies have they got, they have 300 apparently.

Interesting... kinda surprised the 300 didn't run out quicker especially with no limit.

Whoops didnt see that. Was that always there? I looked and didn't see it, but I was rushing trying to check out before they sold out.
Just to see what would happen, i put 500 in my cart and it let me go to the checkout. They must not keep very good track of their stock if they only had 300.

They don't seem to be sold out yet, did it show as sold out previously? Maybe they're cancelling the 3+ orders?

My order for 2 copies shows as backordered, not sure I especially like the sound of that...

I did two separate orders on the same account (when I decided to get an extra one) first one I did hours ago, says pending. One i did more recent said backordered. So im guessing they oversold.

Yeah maybe thats why they oversold. Idk why they didn't just limit the carts to 3 instead of leaving the amount open. Im sure plenty of ppl in a rush didn't pay attn. I actually looked for a limit and didn't notice lol. Guess I'm half brain dead so that doesnt mean much haha

I think it's actually pretty smart of you to have suspected a limit and acted accordingly. I would normally cancel a backordered order especially when already paid but I'm quite curious to see if that one is going to go through. I'm pretty sure many people here have ordered stupid quantités.
