This beautiful example sold last weekend for $118, 950.00, as many here likely saw. It was accompanied by interesting contemporary provenance, as well as letters from Frank Caiazzo, Paul Wane, Perry Cox, and Roger Epperson.

I remember you said this same thing before about this photo. I agree. Do you recall the example where John added military striped and all to his shirt? I liked that one. I think Ballroom showed it.

That one was better but there's something about this photo that just turns me off. I think I've probably just seen it too often - similar to the signed fan club card you see so often. The autographs are also nearly always placed in a similar position. Most examples seem to me to be a commodity ideal for trading rather than something with real feeling. Just personal taste I know.

Agree. The ones with the stripes from John had more "personality." It might have had additional notes etc. This looks clinical.
