*****YEAR IN REVIEW 2025: WHAT WERE YOUR TOP GETS? MISSES?*****
Wanted to start as always by thanking our founder Steve Cyrkin, Admin for this wonderful site!
I'm up to, and thankful for all my 105 Friends here, and so appreciate everybody's contributions in this community to help build our collections in this Autograph hobby we all so love.
As 2025 comes to a close, it's time again for:
*****YEAR IN REVIEW 2025: WHAT WERE YOUR TOP GETS? MISSES?*****
If you all will kindly allow me to go first here's
*****MY GETS: (In no apparent order):
.Anthony Hopkins (He is a classical pianist and composer)
.Michael J Fox (autographed my Back To The Future 40th Anniversary 345 Guitar)
.Robert Plant
.David Gilmour
.Jethro Tull/Ian Anderson
.Pat Benatar
.Lionel Richie
.Elton John (someone gave me one of the "EJ" initialled "Who Believes"..is this even a GET?)
.Priscilla Presley
*****MY MISSES:
None this year, our awesome community shared some incredible finds and I got all the ones that personally interested me !
This year, again, I maintained my promise to my wife and Jason H that I was pulling back on purchasing, as my autograph collection now completely fills the walls in my Music/Autograph room!
*****HOPES FOR 2026:
.Elvis Presley - but it's gotta be amazing like Steve Cyrkin, Admin 's, and authenticated by
roger epperson, and no wannabe authenticators!
.Axl Rose - at a reasonable price, not the junk filled comic book "Appetite" collection.
.Roger Waters - at a reasonable price, maybe nice and simple like a CD, but not a large Boxset.
So...now it's your turn.... 2025: WHAT WERE YOUR TOP GETS? MISSES?
Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Holidays, Happy New Year...See you in 2026 !!!

Fingers crossed for you crazyrabbits23 ! Keep that fire burning into 2026!
Yeah, didn't get too much on my last run, but definitely looking forward to 2026! Have a couple engagements lined up next year, including another Atwood event in May (and maybe I can get those collecting posts on her work finally finished and posted here), that I'm looking forward to getting in on and getting her to sign a couple more items for me.
I'm at the point where I've accomplished most of my personal collecting goals -- but then again, I say that and something new comes in to change my perspective/collecting focus.
I can totally relate to what you said: "I'm at the point where I've accomplished most of my personal collecting goals -- but then again, I say that and something new comes in to change my perspective/collecting focus." !
Jason H and I tell each other at the end of every year of collecting "I think I'm done"...BUT then the next year brings more tempting finds! Lol
Happy New Year crazyrabbits23, and that's enough snow we've gotten in our Ontario December to last us the rest of Winter, don't you think?
Ya know, this hits hard this year lol. I was certain id take a huge step back a year ago. Actually spent random months without making a purchase. Something triggered me and by October I was right back in the thick of it all.
I won't be truly done until I finish my Ghostbusters cast items and get Jane Curtin in person for my SNL vinyl cover. I have to stay active so I don't miss those opportunities and for that reason, I'm sure I'll run into other items that are too tempting to ignore. I'm really surprised at what I've accumulated this year after thinking I was done and honestly don't have any regrets, but seriously, I need to stop spending so much on this hobby haha..
While I can't say I'm done with my purchases completely, there's no reason I would need another Taylor Swift or anyone else I already have on another art card. But If they went back to signed booklets and album covers, I know I'd be a sucker for the rest of my life.
I hope 2026 will be the year that you get to finish your Ghostbusters cast items and get Jane Curtin in person for your SNL vinyl cover!
I too wish a return of signed album covers instead of all of those art cards.
And actually signed books, instead of book plates, would be great too.
Happy New Year Jason H and we'll see you in 2026.
JJ
Still no Mel Gibson for me. Waiting patiently.
Hope you get your Mel REM !
Another great year, in part to these boards. Can't thank you all enough!

I should get several from Trans-Siberian Orchestra when I go in a couple of weeks as well
You were soooo lucky to get Angel Wallet Boy,
Wish TSL would ship to Canada!
I loved KISS and Angel in the mid 70s.
Punky Meadows is a great lead guitarist!
Thanks! TSL still has the Angel LP in stock at a discount if you can get it forwarded.
I'd also keep an eye on Deko Entertainment's site in the new year. I'm wondering if they do a signed 50th anniversary of their terrific second album.
Love the Anthony Hopkins, Robert Plant, David Gilmour, and Matt Groening. Great year, every year I think how could there be more new and exciting releases, and every year this community finds them and allows everyone to be able to grab them. Love this place!
