Hello, all! Since I greatly value the opinions of those in this forum, I was curious about everyone's opinion on this.
I just bought a signed Linda McCartney signed cookbook. I am sending along a picture of the signed book page here. I have a binder of pages with a collection of Beatles-related autographs and my first instinct is to cut this page out of the book to add to my binder. It could cut nicely to just about 8 x 10 size, which would include all the text on this page. The dustcover of the book is also not in mint condition.
My questions is, what do folks prefer in a case like this? Keeping the book in tact? Or cutting the autograph out to put in with the rest of a collection of photos and printed materials?
Thanks for your opinions!

Please anyone correct me if I'm wrong but I've seen people upset about receiving email notifications for off topic discussions since they only monitor this specific category. Members of course are allowed to use this site as they please. I'm definitely not singling anyone out but I always find it comical when it's someone who never contributes here demanding others keep it on topic so they can only receive notifications that benefit them with new releases. Although, other great members here can be extremely busy during the day. I can understand how 50 unrelated email notifications would make them miss 1 or 2 that they are specifically using notifications for. I haven't used this feature myself but I've seen it mentioned that members can simply stop following specific discussions with the click of a button. If this feature works, I guess they would still be bombarded with unnecessary notifications until they click but overall it seems like a good solution.
I personally do not use any type of notification. I come and go as I please straight to this forums main page so I can check all recent activity and not miss a single thing. I couldn't care less what category a discussion is posted in when I arrive but it does make sense for keeping things tidy and searchable within specific categories. This is my bookmark, I do not go straight to the direct musicians category like most will.

I believe this discussion can benefit a lot of collectors and personally I'm glad it's in an area it can be seen by many. Aside from books, on the rare occasion I have also cut certain art cards to turn into trading card size. I know there are many others out there who also do this. To some members, ugly or not, it's becoming more and more popular. Ever since artists stopped signing CD booklets and vinyl covers, it's a way to keep some of us interested in these new releases without being constantly pissed off over another dumb art card release.
Maybe just don't start topics about Star wars, favorite non dairy ice cream or toilet problems, even though id still contribute if it interested me lol. I really feel like the heart of this forum is taken away when members feel they can't voice an opinion without this kind of backlash.
dont touch it!
