Same exact boat, just called my credit Union, cancelled the card. They said I have to wait for the charges to post before I can dispute, but anything you’re going to use on your end for your dispute would be helpful. We can collaborate so we don’t get screwed.

I feel the same Jason - more and more scams/impersonators/autopens - it's becoming a major headache. The scams are getting better and looking genuine. I enjoyed the hobby for years but it creates more aggro these days than pleasure. Another credit card cancelled. Another nuisance getting payments updated.

Sorry folks, it looked pretty legit, but I'm seeing some flags myself
(showing as order #1001 seemed strange to begin with)
Can anybody run a search of shopify.com/106959503709 as that's where things were pointing as far as the transaction to see if there's any owner details.
The card billing description shows as "ARIANA GRANDE FRAGR BIRMINGHAM GBR" which seems dodgy as well.

Love that you can't report things to shopify without creating a shopify account. Piss poor.

Just received a cancellation email from them, after I requested a refund. Now, I just have to wait and see if it actually gets cancelled. But at least for coverage, this is a good thing to be able to show the bank.
