Can anyone tell me if this Alec Guinness is authentic? I bought it off a UACC/AFTAL dealer in the UK. Thanks for the help.

The flash reflection is right on the signature.

Please try again without the glare and also show the entire photo. I'd like to see the size of the signature relative to the entire image.

I have a few in my collection I received directly from Sir Alec, plus another I am confident is real. In my experience, the forgers typically do not get the size right plus the fine detail is lost as well.

I am curious about the scale as well.  I'm not sure about the slant and the fact that there is not a line drawn beneath it concerns me as well.  Were secretarials or stamps ever a concern with Alec Guinness?  I have one purchased from a very reputable dealer that I have always believed to be authentic but you never know.

not authentic

Any particular reason?

signature is too big

I have seen authenticated examples of his signature that were atypically larger than normal but I agree that it is always a red flag in my book as well.  I'm just not ready to give up on this one yet.

It's missing the typical "flair" to his letter formation as well.  It could be the pen that was used but the structure of the strokes is not consistent with other examples. It seems to fall off in an odd way at the end as well.

Here is my PSA/DNA Alec Guinness signed photo for comparison (the authentication sticker is on the back, thankfully). The signature on my photo appears to be much smaller and tighter than the one that started this post.

That is much more typical, especially the "A" which appears to be more of a circle than an oval.  I just wish that we could get a better look at the "G" in the one at the top of the page.
