You mean the reply card, Terrier?
That could be. She had several of these and I believe one made an Elvis collector's website or collector's price guide once.
Thanks for all your replies. Its a keeper then! I have 2 more graphs I will post. I have been burned by Elvis before, but in each case the seller (even R&R once) took it back. I have kept 3 (this one included) which I feel are the real thing.
+1
Well said Terrier. I would also like to add that just because a member offers an opinion about an autograph it is not to the benefit of an authenticator or a dealer or whoever to call them slanderous. The more defensive they become the more guilty they appear to the general public. I am not referring to anyone specifically. Just a general statement that I feel very strongly about.
Unless of course the statement of authenticity is made in general terms that lacks specificity. This has happened way too often on way too many threads where we talk about authenticators and use a broad brush. That is way different than having specifics which is what most don't have in terms of numbers... Doing that the problem not only escalates in threads, but legal threats and as we well know litigation as well.
It does allow but one has to be cognizant of what is being said. There is no such thing as Never & Always regardless of what the subject matter. Or at least I have not seen one as all one has to do is provide one in the positive or one in the negative and it defeats the entire statement while setting the stage for libel and subsequent litigation threats. Then it typically turns into negative & personal attacks that allows the discussion to turn into whose calling whose wife...
e.g. based on everything that has been reported here and that I have read it would appear to me, imo, that I have seldomly seen a CLM COA on an authentic item. (personal viewpoint). A CLM is on EBAY's banned list for what one would believe to be authenticity reasons (fact).
e.g. in a sample study done of psa/dna stickered charlton hestons on ebay there was a 70% error ratio on their authenticating secretarial charlton hestons as being authentic. (fact).
It is not what we say but rather how we say it and from you especially I expect much better polish.
Terrior went thru on EBAY and in his opinion GA had a couple of issues but the majority of what he saw were ok. (personal perspective from his viewpoint & knowledge)
