Hello!
I have a seller offering my these autographs (Disney, Hitchcock and Sinatra) that he claims he has inherited from his late father...
He doesn't know much about them, Disney should be from 1959 to 1963, the other two has he no info about...
I think the Disney-autograph has some simularities with this one:

and Hitchcock with this:

What do you think?
Thanks for helping!

What is the Hitchcock signed on? What type of writing instrument was used? Is there also a profile sketch? Hitchcock would add a profile sketch at times to his signature.
I have doubt about the Disney I think I have seen similar autograph drawing.
It might be traced!?
I dont know about Sinatra or Hitchcock
The Hitchcock looks pretty typical but I am not an expert. I am very curious about the "H" though. I am also very suspicious about the Disney sketch as well. "Traced" means someone placed a piece of paper over a signature or sketch and drew the same image on top of the original provided that the original was visible through the paper.
I would ask a lot of questions before purchasing these items. How did the seller's father acquire them? Why is the seller selling them since they should obviously hold some sentimental value? Some things are just too good to be true and that Disney piece certainly fits that description in my opinion.
If Hitchcock signed in the late 1950s he would probably have added a profile sketch since his TV show was already on the air by then. I am not saying that this is a definite way to authenticate his signature but I would feel much better if a profile sketch were added to the signature. It may be authentic but the lack of a profile sketch and the suspicious "A" would scare me away personally. Sorry.
Post a link to this discussion as a comment on Bob Shinn's profile and ask for his opinions. I'm concerned about all of them. They look slowly signed to me, which is not how people naturally sign their signatures.
