Any opinions on this? It is supposed to be from July/Aug 1963 and there is supposed to be some photographic evidence of the signing. Seems almost too good to be true - very clean record, same or similar pen/ink. I haven't seen the photo.

100% no issues here, I bid on these last week but they went too high for me and my tiny budget....I wish I had seen that John signed LP.  Xperttexpert had, lovely item...a very fair price !

thanks beatlworld, i do appreciate you chiming in!

No issue even with the George signature?

No problems... Xperttexpert....what's real is real !!!

oh so true!

Hi BallroomDays67, nope, no issues with the George whatsoever, I think he was trying to be kind by squeezing his signature into the clear bit (no writing bit) of the ep....what you have to remember that it has been signed using a fountain pen hence the slight variation, but believe me there's nothing wrong with this set...beautiful....one other thing....the original vendor had another one signed for her sister..lucky girls !!!

I consider it to be more than a slight variation, and would be interested in seeing an example that resembles the one in question.

I understand your concerns however the most important point and probably the only one here is that the item is authentic....they literally signed thousands of items so some may look different as I've already mentioned the pen may have something to do with it, at the end of the day the item is fine so no issues....do a simple search on google and you'll see numerous different styles of George's signature.

I respect your opinion, but it's an opinion and not necessarily a statement of fact. I have a number of exemplars and also spent some time looking for one that in my opinion bears at least a reasonable resemblance to the one in question. I was unable to find one and would like to see one.

this is really stupid, it is not about finding examples that match. it is about identifying their hand writing. i guess YOUR opinion is a statement of fact!?!

When Ballroom stands his ground, I almost always learn something...whether he ends up being right or not. Or if we agree to disagree. He doesn't hold his position out of stubbornness. In a year he may come back to this discussion with evidence that supports authenticity.

I'm more like you, Xpert. I look at the handwriting even more than the exemplars. But Ballroom brings a lot to the conversation.

Thanks, Steve.
