On December 2, Julien's Auctions is selling The Collection of Tompkins and Bush. The collection contains 465 lots of Michael Jackson memorabilia, 287 of them autographed.

Michael Bush and the late Dennis Tompkins were Michael Jackson's costume designers for 25 years, during Jackson's most successful period. They were the consignors of the signed Thriller jacket that Julien's sold for $1,800,000 in June 2011.

Almost all of the autographs in the Tompkins and Bush sale are a variation I'm not familiar with. I've only been looking at Jackson's autograph for a few years, though, and we have members here who have collected him for decades, so I'd appreciate your input and exemplars.

If you know Michael Jackson's autograph well, please look at a few images below from the auction and let me know what you think. Even better, browse the auction and upload any similar examples you have: http://www.julienslive.com/view-auctions/catalog/id/77/

Julien's is the world's premier auction house for Michael Jackson memorabilia, so they would know his autograph better than most of us. I'm just surprised I haven't seen this style before.

Thanks for your help.

agreed

I haven't contacted the news media, but I have been contacted by them.

And I agree, an MJ was Murdered headline reduces credibility.

Header has been changed, Thank you

When you buy from a fraudster what guarantee is there those unsigned items are what Bush says they are??

please keep this thread open and as it is. we need the media to pick up on this. Darren knows about the standee. says i'm nuts. found out that particular design was made in US. not UK. UK imported it from US. all UK manufactured designs different to this were made "after Michael Jackson had died" Bravado also say it was made "after he had died" too.. but i couldn't reach anyone that knew about prototypes and the license issue.. kinda hit a brick wall there.. will keep trying .. i think all that was dealt with people in the US ?

Here is some info from Michael Jackson Blog that is up to date on Business ventures etc, from before he died (several yrs) to after he died.  http://lesliemjhu.blogspot.com/2009/06/michael-jacksons-business-is...   Raymone Bain was the business mgr at that time, I've asked Taaj to see if she can touch base with her to confirm some of the info.

This discussion is staying open. We just need to add another one.

Yeah, we really need to have concrete proof about that...!

so help. EVERYONE can help in finding that out.

Dude, you know I'm all over this s***, and I'm tired that people find excuses for Bush... I was just reading the legal docs about the joint venture between Bravado and MJ... They apparently met in early June 2009 to show Mj some 300 designs... And I'm sure they didn't bring the 300 items to MJ!

So if they just met for designs then, they certainly couldnt have had produced items already before he died.

It really doesn't look likely, does it? Very exciting. I'm so impressed with the sleuthing going on here, well done, guys!!
