Hello everyone,
I have been questioning a Chris Rea autograph that i purchased from one of the UACC auction dealers that is linked too from autographworld. Although this purchase is several years old, i thought i would put it up for opinions. At best i think it is very questionable. I originally found these sellers from the link to the UACC Auction at Autographworld. And afterwards bought numerous items from the sellers listed through autographworld. And several of these items i purchased, in my opinion are questionable. However, i also purchased an equal number that were no doubt good.
Upon checking back in their, I see several items throughout the auctions that are questionable to me. Their are several their that i didnt like just through clicking on a few. The first is a Bruce Springsteen that looks bad. The Van Halen item also looks very suspicious. The Axl Rose, Peter Buck, Cher, and the Paul McCartney also look questionable. But the items are mostly good in my opinion.
I am curious to know what others think of the auctions, Here is the link:

I've seen a lot of GAI stickers that are legit, most from before Justin Priddy's name appeared on them.
Justin Priddy, GAI and ACE - how is he not in jail?
Sorry but everything I see is a must avoid. I'm sure they may be a few items but very few that are the real deal.
There is a ton of legit GA stuff out there. You are holding on to an old reality that is no longer true. However, I know nothing we say here will alter your opinion.
I have to disagree on GA. Maybe they're really good in some areas, but I have no idea what those areas are.
Every time I type "Aaron Rodgers GA" in Ebay, I often get a complete shutout, where nothing looks to be even possibly authentic.
In fact, I'm not sure I've ever seen them authenticate a Rodgers I really thought might be legit. The range of what they authenticate is actually humorous, and it's pretty clear they're content to slap their sticker on just whatever.
I have no idea on their sports stuff. I only deal in Hollywood.
Lets start with Del Mar Race track as he regularly is in the winners circle and attends about a weeks worth of races as he is a Del Mar resident, his brother works at a restaraunt named Crush and he attends often when in town as he lives in Del Mar in the off season.
Michael Jordan golf tournament, he and Gretzky signed freely for the first two days then stopped, Tahoe Golf Tournament he signs freely for a couple of the days then shuts it down but the graphs are terrible, Pre Season game in SD last year he signed liberally one of the days they were in town and of course Pebble Beach a few years back. At golf tournaments he (like Gretzky, Lemieux, Jordan, Brodeur) sign terrible for patrons and I have attached an image of one of those for your reference Rich and there will be more to follow.
BTW, you need to also know that the Favre hologram is one of the most knocked off FOIL stamped athlete authentications on the market and there are many questionable out there so if that is your "go to" look for a Favre autograph you might want to think again.
I really don't know what that photo is supposed to tell me, considering that the only thing I can make out is some guy's arm.
This is the first I've heard of the fake Favres with the fake Favre holograms, although most of the places I see them are reputable places such as Favre's own website, Radtke, Waukesha Sports Cards, Legends of the Field, etc. Do you have any evidence of this?
Here's the bottom line: Why do the GA certed Rodgers look drastically different than what Steiner, Mounted Memories, Denver Autographs, Waukesha Sports Cards, Legends of the Field, Jeff's Sports, and othe places who've personally attended his private signings look like? Even PSA and JSA (who has been on site for some of his signings in 2011) seem to generally be getting it right. And why do the GA items often include the "12" addition when he hasn't included that in his signature for at least a couple years now?
He does live in Del Mar. My brother lives and works in Carlsbad and sees him in his store every once in awhile. My mom lives in Del Mar and works at the track. If he's in the winners circle she'll have access to him. Im out there every year. I've only seen him out there once and that was in the Turf Club. He sure wasn't signing autographs.
Only other real chance I had was at Kurt Warner's charity flag football game. He did sign for a couple kids but not more than maybe 5.
Knowing where he lives and hangs out doesn't mean somebody knows his signature better than others. Unless you've gotten his signature or seen good examples from those who have than your guess is no better than mine.
Rich,
Your biggest problem is that you would not know what a good Aaron Rodgers looked like if it hit you upside your head. Stop pointing fingers and look around and you will see the same at your favorite JSA/PSA stops as well. They are all over the place and Rodgers could care less what his signature turns out like when signing for the public. The rackers who go out and get items signed have their items certed by them both and they look the same so it is amazing how you can just blatantly pull up items of ours when the same is everywhere from both of them.
Tell us all about where he signs for the public, since you clearly know this stuff. If you think rackers are having success with Rogders, I'd love to see what evidence you have of this.
Also explain what type of drugs Nelson and Jennings were on when they signed that mini helmet, because they clearly had some issues that day.
