Hi All,

Have just joined this forum and would like some opinions on the two signed albums i have just bought. I've been collecting autographs for many years and I'm getting a bit stressed about the authenticity of these two albums now.

One is the George Harrison album which includes Ringo and Eric Clapton and the rest of the band.

Second is Bob Dylan with Johnny Cash and rest of band.

I would be grateful for any comments and opinions ?

Regards

Hal.

Hi Hal,

I'm sorry to say that these are both definitely forgeries in my opinion. Where did you buy them?

Hi Steve,

I bought one from iOffers the George Harrison and the Dylan one from autographs network.

I have to say I was concerned at the low prices at the time.

I noticed a Jimi Hendricks one they are selling (after I bought the dylan one) on a guitar scratch plate and thought it was odd that they had pens back then that wrote on shiny surfaces ??

Also they have a Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra one on a scratch plate ???????

I've contacted Mr Franklin about my concerns about the authenticity of my purchase and my concern at all their products being priced so low. All the Beatles scratch plates etc and elvis things ??

I really should have known better !!!

Regards

Hal.

Sorry, but the "All Things Must Pass" definitely doesn't look authentic to me. I think I may have seen it before.

Very bad forgery -- looks like all the sigs. signed by the same person.  Where did you get them and how much did you pay?   Try and get your money back if you can -- they are not even close to real.

agree with all so far, not real. sorry.

Hi Bruce,

Thanks for the reply,

I paid £54.00 ($82.20) for the Dylan one and £293.00 ($599) for George Harrison one, which if were real is very reasonable.

I have to agree on further inspection they do look like they have been written by the same person. Also I found another Dylan one signed by all the band and Bob Dylan and Ken Buttrey were signed with a silver pen and the rest in black, its just too coincidental.

To add insult to injury I'm gonna probably get stung by customs having these sent from U.S. to U.K.

I will defo return them, but I'll have to fork out for insurance, but having said that they are not really worth insuring if they are fake.

Thanks again to everyone for your input.

Regards

Hal.

Real Bob Dylan albums dont cost $82.20 unless you are buying it from a crackhead.

Not real, sorry...

try to get your money back. these are really awful.
