Can you please tell me the size of the photo and also show an image of the back and if there is the MLB logo on the front of this image..

Thanks

It is an 8x10. I don't have the photo in hand.

It really is hard to tell...I truly could go either way...there is good qualities in it...but at the same time a in hand look would be best...

I do see some concerns about the signatures but it would be something that I would need to physically examine to tell you for sure.

Mr. Frost, the one I posted is a confirmed forgery that nearly fooled Cee Gee and myself.

I have the CEE GEE forgery (Mantle with hat in hand) in front of me now. IMO, it was not done by the same hand that did the item in question. Too many subtle differences. Quite frankly, the CEE GEE forger does not need to improve... his work is good enough to fool most, regrettably. It is certainly a cut above the usual junky cookie cutter fakes we see.

Back to the item in question, I would give it a cautious thumbs up. But I'd like to see it in hand to feel truly confident.

What I notice about the close up of the OG photo is there seems to be a white outline between the photo and the signature I think thats because of the laser printer.

I would give the item in question a thumbs up also, but would need to see the photo to make sure it is not photo copied...I would think that's true with ANY Photo. The only thing we can really discuss in any case is what we see in the signature. As Mike is pointing out, you really can't tell if it's real or not with-out it in your hand. It is a pretty rare pose.

Here's another rare pose I bought sometime ago, I had a feeling it was photo copied, tried to take some of the sharpie off with goof off to be sure and.... NOTHING, it was a print! about 2 years later I saw the same pose for sale and low and behold, it was an identical print.

The CEE GEE Hat forgery is an obvious forgery, albeit a cut above as others have mentioned

When I compared the signature in question to the eleven Mantle signatures that I have, here is what I noticed. The i in Mickey is short and not as high as it should be. The I also curves upward instead of being a straight line going up. The c is more curved/rounded at the bottom than all the others I have. The k usually is curved at the top and is straight on this one. Could be coincidence, but there seems to be quite a few differences.
